Are you in a place in your life where things seem to be going awry? With a global pandemic, many of us are experiencing drastic life changes. Some have lost jobs, others are struggling in relationships; social distancing is creating depression and angst, personally and professionally.
It's a difficult time for many.
We can look to the sky with closed fists shaking, asking "why??" or we can believe that things happen for a reason....things happen the way they are supposed to happen. It might not make sense now, but what if you believed that this struggle that you are experiencing is happening to make you stronger?
Everything good that has happened to you over the course of your life probably happened just at the right time. Then, you most likely thought, "I can't believe this happened! The timing couldn't have been better".
When you thought you would never find a job, that offer came in.
When you weren't ready to move, you found a perfect home in a perfect location with great neighbors.
When you felt like you had nobody, a stranger came into your life and brought purpose and meaning.
When good things happen to us, we are grateful for a quick minute. When bad things happen, we dwell on them.
Instead of asking "Why me? Why now?", ask "How can I turn this around?" You may not be able to control things that happen, but you can control how you react, how you think, and the choices you make. It may not be easy as FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) creeps into your mind. It creeps into all of our minds! However, once you decide to take action, things will fall into place, the right people will come into your life.
I'm telling you to turn that frown upside down and trust that something good is going to come from this challenge. Trust the timing of your life. Trust that you have the power within yourself to come through better on the other side of this. Trust that you have people in your life who care and who are here for you.
The challenges you face today are lessons. The challenges you face today force you to tap into solutions-mode. You've faced challenges in the past and you have survived - potentially thrived. It's time to do it again: to learn new lessons, to build new skills, to tap into new resources.
I implore you to reflect on your life, the struggles you have experienced, all that you are grateful for, and how some of these struggles contributed to who you are today and to the gifts that are present in your life.
Whatever you believe in - God, The Universe, Angels, Guides, Pink Bubbles - has gotten you this far. You have trusted it in the past and you should trust it now. Trust the timing of your life...trust your faith...trust yourself. #yougotthis
